Our Carmelite Way of Life

Our main ministry to the Church is our Teresian Carmelite way of life. Our Carmelite Community follows an “horarium” which is our daily schedule. Carmel is all about a life given to prayer and seeking union with God. Everything we do has this goal as its end. Our fidelity to our vocation is our primary focus and service to the Church, everything else is secondary. We up hold foremost the following of our Constitutions and the Rule of St. Albert (the Carmelite Rule). Our Carmelite Community is not a cloistered community. Yet we follow the “cloister of the will”. This means that we all desire the Lord Jesus Christ above all things, and we separate ourselves from anything that would be contrary to the Gospel. The priory is the epicenter of our ministries.
